Profile

• Education: Mechanical Engineering MSc.
• Experience 10 years+
• Team leader, well balanced person, critical attitude, creative and an innovator/improver.
• The intention to stay within our company for an extensive number of years.
• Good command of English and ideally also Dutch.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Main tasks executed alone and in the team:

• As a project leader of a design team you are responsible for the Integrated design of semi-custom and custom-built objects.
• Manages the design process with the Owners Team.
• Manage the General Arrangement and the technical specification.
• Hands over the PDP to our Engineering Department and explain and consolidate the PDP in the engineerings and built process.
• Discuss with subcontractors and suppliers the optimum solutions for the object.
• Synchronizes matters and information with the exterior and interior architect
• Sets standards for naval architecture/mechanical engineering and keeps these standards up to date.
• Hands on mentality, able to work with Acad, executing the most complicated tasks himself.
• Sets standards for calculations, cost prices, offers/quotations and keeps these standards up to date.
• Supports sales colleagues during sales visits and meetings and translates client’s demands into feasible technical solutions.
• Proposes and maintains the D&P project planning. Delegates tasks to the engineers he steers.
• Manage the D&P-projects allocated to him, within the timelines and budget.
• Takes care of the assessment and development of his team.
