As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will work on challenging projects for clients in the High-Tech, Semicom and / or automotive industry.

Profile

• BSc, MSc in Mechanical

• Theoretical knowledge of technical physics in the fields of mechanics

• Experience in communicating with internal and external parties

• Experience in 3D CAD, Siemens NX and Team Center

• Passion for technology

• Pro-active, team player and solution-oriented.

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to quickly understand conceptual ideas

• Ability to transfer knowledge to team members

• The ability to work within an international and multicultural setting.

• Adaptability and flexibility with regard to working in different project teams

• Good command of the Dutch and English language.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Conducting preliminary studies, feasibility studies and drawing up technical specifications

• Development, validation and integration of complex mechanical modules and components

• Developing concepts in which you make choices about the optimal solution direction from a technical analysis.

• To arrive at a detailed design based on the chosen concept.

• Elaboration of validation plans to verify the functional requirements, providing testing support and reporting on test results.

• Broadening and deepening your technical knowledge, both in your own area of expertise and in other technical domains.

• Sharing your technical knowledge with your group leader and your team members.

• Participating in, initiating and organizing technical meetings.
